psoriasis help

hi, i don't have psoriasis anymore, but i thought i'd share what i learned about it when i did have it.

i got psoriasis when i was drinking a lot. the depletion of vitamin b along with all the toxins i was poisoning myself with really make me break out.

my healing strategy has been:

vitamin b and c stress tabs
primrose and flax seed oil caps (taken internally and rubbed on sores)
cutting out caffeine and sugar out of the diet
sunlight sunlight sunlight!
swimming in the ocean is always healing too for so many ailments since the ocean is high in minerals and the water so much alike our own blood!

i also quit drinking and have done fasts and cleanses within the last 13 yrs, but not often or consitantly.
i've had only 1 small patch appear in 13 yrs!

Psoriasis breakthrough

Below, I quote Dr David Williams.

"Psoriasis isn't a skin disease and the real cause is curable. Thirty-five years of research in Switzerland, Germany, Japan, and the Netherlands has finally resulted in a breakthrough cure for psoriasis. I know, because I spent several years traveling to these countries, conferring with researchers, examining case histories with patients, double-checking the data.

Nevertheless, it will be at least another 10 years before your dermatologist starts using it. Because the new research turns all previous theories upside down. To their amazement, scientists have found this "incurable skin disease" is neither a skin disease nor incurable.

It's actually a metabolic defect that shows up in every cell of your body. Basically, the cells of psoriasis sufferers can't produce enough of a key compound called fumaric acid. Without fumaric acid, your cell factories go a bit haywire. They start manufacturing chemicals that irritate your skin. Result, psoriasis.

This explains why summer sunlight often helps people with psoriasis. Sunlight helps your cells produce a little more fumaric acid. But the effect is too slight to give lasting relief.

What does work: Fumaric acid supplements, combined with a few dietary changes, have given astonishing results in numerous clinical studies to date. In one such study, 4 out of 5 patients saw dramatic relief, with quite a few experiencing "complete and long-lasting disappearance of lesions." Fumaric acid is very safe and the side effects are mild. You may experience a tingling or flushing sensation in your skin for a bit after you take it."

Sharing What Worked For Me

I was told that I should share this with a pharmaceutical company and make some money. I am not that kind of person. I have my profession and do fine and do a lot more after work for the common good. Also, since the products I used are over the counter and contain no steroids, I feel compelled to share my experience with you.

I have a certain form of psoriasis that only inflicts where the skin folds, such as behind the ear. It has afflicted many locations that are sensitive to the issue of skin thinning and thereby steroids could not be used.

For years, I cut my own hair because hair stylists might think it is contagious. Finally, I decided to take things into my own hands and develop for my own use something that is steroid free.

The nice thing about my findings is that after 3 weeks of use, the condition could be described as permanently gone or in remission.

Before I share with you what I have done, it is important that you check with your doctor or pharmacist if the combination of products is compatible with you and causes you no harm, also, for how long can this treatment be used, otherwise, you are using it at your own risk. As an example of potential side effects, one of the ingredients may cause skin sensitivity to the sun, you might want to wear long sleeves or pants or use a sun block or add a zinc cream component; I would add a zinc cream to the mix before using sunblock.

For the sake of the common good, there is another matter that I would like to bring to your attention. It is a piece of truth that is being kept from you. It affects you and many people around the world and will have ill effects for many years to come unless something is done about it. You are only required to read it and share it if the treatment I share with you works. I think it is a fair exchange. Also, if you share the treatment with others, kindly send them this complete posting including the links to the article and website.

The piece is title “The Crime Behind the Criminal Wars” and can be found at http://www.mydemocracy.net/war_crimes/crime_criminal_wars_bush_blair.htm

Now, let us get to the meat of the matter.

The following are the products and procedure used (active ingredients are shared for the benefit of people outside the U.S.):

1. Witch hazel
2. Polysporin (not Neosporin)…Poly is a wider spectrum and has anti fungus component…active ingredients per gram: Bacitracin Zinc 500 units, Polymyxin B Sulfate 10,000 units
3. Benadryl Original Strength…active ingredients: Diphenhydramine Hypochoride 1% and Zinc Acetate 0.1%
4. Aveeno, Intense Relief Overnight Cream…active ingredient: Dimethicone 1.3%

Witch hazel is an Astringent that relieves minor itch, a mild disinfectant, and think that it helps open the pores to receive treatment.

Dampen a disposable towel with Witch hazel and gently rub the area affected.
In the palm of your hand combine the other three ingredients, 1/3 each. I usually combine the Polysporin and Benadryl first, and then combine the mix with Aveeno. The way to combine them is to use the index finger to mix them by rubbing them together.

Gently rub the affected area with the mix.

Other than asking your pharmacist and doctor about potential side effects, I would also try the mix on a small area of skin to test its efficacy before using over a wider area.

If the treatment is working for you but want to bump it up a notch (sounds like Emeril), you might want to consider adding a drop or two of Oregano oil; that was going to be my next move. Again, make sure you ask a doctor or pharmacist about potential harm to you.

Thank you all so much and hope that this approach works for you the way it worked for me.
